Voices Empower Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region $15 Donated
$15 from each candle sold will be donated to Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.
November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month. Every 6 days in Canada, a woman is killed by her intimate partner. Last year in Ontario there were 43 femicides in 52 weeks and in 2024, there were 52 femicides. We must continue raising awareness and funds to prevent these tragedies from happening.
Together, we can make an impact.
We encourage you to join us for Voices Empower: Walk to Break the Silence on November 21, 2026, to show your support for women and children experiencing domestic violence. We will be walking 6km from Uptown Square in Waterloo to Carl Zehr Square in Kitchener and back to show our support for the woman who is killed every 6 days.
